Yep, that's my favorite screen too, and I really like the color there as well.
I'm not sure there is an RF2 track that doesn't look like a RF1 mod
They have no fancy features, just lots of DX9 geometry and proper shadows/lighting/HDR, which in some way is "old", but in another I like it.
Assetto Corsa by comparison has a more "global illumination" going on, the colors are easier to get natural, and there's more "texture" to objects.
I'll not lie and say I would ditch these improved visuals of AC if they were to come into RF2, but as of now switching to AC (which I briefly considered) for me falls short with a lack of matching content. RF2 now gives me a full 1967 season, 1992 season and 2013 Formula One season. In AC you mostly get one or two cars of each racing class... and the dynamic line, SP pitstops, animated marshalls, safety car... all missing mean it looks and drives nice, but it doesn't allow the kind of "championship roleplay" I like best.
