There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I feel old, having used every one of those wood working tools in different
shops over the years. Yes, few of the shops I worked in only had the vintage
tools and they worked better then any modern tool before CNC. Loved working
with hardwoods, but discovered I had an allergy to the dust created and would
get sick all the time while working with it. Love wood working, but it hates
me.

That is cool.
Don't know why I thought they made wooden props out of a single piece of wood.

Culver Propellers (aka Valley Engineering) did my wooden prop:

Alana isn't just the head office manager, she's a third generation propeller master! She tried to get me to get a striped prop with alternating lamination in light and dark, but I wanted a solid color. I left the stain choice up to her and she really came through. Pictures don't do it justice.

When Mr. Culver of Culver props decided to retire and close up shop Gene from Valley bought the company and all the machines, which date back to the 1940's - not just as an investment, but to ensure that there would be a good supplier of custom props.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

Tvrdi,

If you have the money look up Hercules Props (or the company that made Dart's prop). In the case of Hercules, he has made props for the SE-5 and other classics. In addition to a current stock of wood, Rupert has purchased old English church pews made from Mahogany and aged for generations. Laminates with that and recent growth would make something unforgettable.
