This sim has no MP, it´s just single player, the best richest, more realistic single player campaign in the WW1 you have ever experienced, but without online play. This

I'm absolutely sure, that Formation-Flying with a Human-Only-Squad will end up in a total Desaster, though A small group of us used to fly OFF Phase 3 together online. It was a lot of fun, being able to directly share the experience. Formations weren't that difficult to maintain and a few of us even landed in formation several times. And I suspect it will/would be even easier using Oculus (assuming Oculus lives up to expectations and assuming WOFF supports/is compatible with it). But flying against another human is impossibly glitchy. A shame, IMO, because pleasure shared is pleasure multiplied.

I remember in one of the Phase 4 Preview movies that there was a screenshot of the Workshop and it showed a Multiplayer button. Evidently they were working on something but felt they couldn't get it to be what they wanted and so pulled it from the project. I believe - don't quote me on this - I recall it being a cooperative experience they were working towards. Maybe someday. At least WOFF is still being very actively developed and supported. It is, to my knowledge, the only WWI flight sim out that has that distinction anymore of pushing out new content in significant quantities. FE2 hasn't had an update in years and RoF is literally just a single new plane every 6 to 8 months. Both fine sims, but no longer in active development. WOFF is it.

Can you imagine you and a couple pals all in the same flight and squadron flying missions in a campaign? Or a two-seater career with you as the pilot and a friend as observer? How cool can you get? Awesome I tell you...pure and simple.
If that should be possible WITHOUT causing any problems for the whole world of WOFF, I would vote for it. But only then. Cause the single-player campaign in WOFF is the grandest thing I ever "played" as a sim, and I wouldn't want it to be made less stable, for the sake of MP flying.

We had MP already, with P2 or even P3 - not sure. So, it IS possible. Question is - is it possible without corrupting important bits of WOFF? Cause, there must be a reason why it was not added. Maybe the performance was simply needed elsewhere.

We used to fly Co-ops in OFF online. It was about the only way online worked for OFF. And, you could fly as a gunner in a plane that was flown by another live person.
