...next on the release radar? Seems kind of quiet around here but that's not through a lack of WOFF stick time on my part. To me WOFF is probably 90% perfect and those few items I would like to see a change in I have already So I have been just merrily flying away in my assorted campaigns and wondering what is next in the horizon?

Well, now, Duke, since Ankor's mod went and eliminated that sharp horizon line, perhaps it's not as easy to spot what's on the horizon! (apologies if I credited the wrong person there...) You know, as much respect as I have for the history and the authentic nature of this simulator, I sometimes wish Snoopy would just randomly show up - or I could use Taz's mod and fly him myself. But I have an off-the-wall sense of humor, if you haven't noticed. But a Snoopy mod is really unsubstantial - y'all know the Great War much better than I, so I just wait till whatever they choose to do comes out and then buy it. Still, perhaps every Oct 31st in the sim, our intrepid beagle could haunt the skies Over Flanders Fields...

Mat I have a CD of your WOFF music in my car which I play frequently when driving alone. It helps me change my Honda CRV I to my WWI bus. I love tbe scorez and can hardly wait for your next effort.

We will need some teaser screen shots now to fan the flames of WW1 aviation excitement. Pol? Geeze guys, they just released a patch a few weeks ago! And another one a few weeks before that. And an add-on. Plus OldHats been working on cool Damage Effects mods, Lou's got his airfield Mods. LOL Poor Rise of Flight guys maybe get a new plane every 6 to 8 months. That's pretty much it. I'd say we are extremely fortunate that OBD and the mod community are so active in their development schedules. Of course, having said that...I'm always happy to see a teaser on whatever OBD is working on next too. Basically, we're a spoiled community.

Yeah, I like the way we just surmised that they "must" be working on something, and the next thing you know we're asking for screenshots! Of course, I think Duke is having a little fun here...
We may be "spoiled", but we're a happy lot! And Hellshade is correct - there isn't a better user community out there, as far as I'm concerned! I'm thinking about a bigger SSD, say 512 GB, for whatever's coming next, + Windows 10. Maybe even a new graphics card!
Now as to the French music, Matt Milne will have a ways to go to surpass my wife's favorite - Maurice Jarre's theme from "Is Paris Burning?" (which is, of course a WWII tune). But I count him equal to the task, hearing what he's accomplished so far!

Duke, I understand. When you're used to the stream of goodies that OBD and the modders here have been sending our way, it does build a certain level of expectation!
I'm still buying green bananas... A colleague stopped in here yesterday talking about how the nuclear power industry is now hoping for 80 years instead of 60 year lives for their plants, & I said "So am I - I hit 60 this fall!"
(We of course, are interested in them hitting an 80 year life SAFELY; fortunately, we have much better simuulation an analysis tools & test methods than they did back then, which means a generous degree of overbuild in something that was overbuilt to begin with...)
Creaghorn, your Daniel Brasco series is great!

One of my covert pleasures from being a member of this exalted company is watching the periodic outbreak of "New Release Mania". It breaks out every six to eight months, when one of us can contain himself no longer. Then the mania spreads and like a nervous flock of birds, each holding its own personal shopping list, the begging begins for the Dev's to just give a "a peek" behind the curtain at the next, upcoming wonders. "Just a teaser shot..." Sure.
I remind the Old Dogs, and caution the Young Pups: The Great Glacial Dev's don't talk. A 'teaser shot'? It's more likely a taser shot is what you'll be getting before the Dev's spill any secrets. And after all, it wouldn't be Christmas if you could lift the corner of box and peek inside any time you wanted, would it?
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.
