Planetary landings in 2015? Nice!

Color me excited! And this is why I've been keeping a running tab of all the metallic planets I've discovered.

LOL
I can understand not including air atmosphere world landings at this stage. If you've got an atmosphere, you have the potential for humans and animals living without spacesuits. And that means walking, in ships, stations, in the grasses and forests. Even hunting, as has been mentioned. That encompasses a wide, wide range of content compared to a rocky, dusty, airless world.
Even so, given the mechanics already in game, it's easy to see current things like mining, wreck salvage, and exploration/mapping (even artifacts/archeology) brought to the planetary level. Should work nicely.

I found it hilarious to see people on the forums raging about the price. Come to Australia and feel real pain... Horizons itself looks pretty cool even though they haven't announced all future content and features. I don't mind paying full price for an expansion when the base game has given me so many hours of fun. Been playing at least once a week since release so I definitely got my moneys worth. Even if I never actually visit a planets surface I do like the idea that you can. Not sure if I'll preorder though, I'd be more on the fence if it weren't for the buggies. They look awesome!
This is Bobby Rahal, thanks for playing the trial version of Microsoft's CART Precision Racing

Can't remember if anything comes free with my early access purchase, but I am allergy accessed out. I will pay once its released and reviews are seen.

And "Lifetime Pass" holders too I believe.
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein
