As I recall, SLI does not provide any benefit with WOFF. Does this mean that it just doesn't help or does it actually hinder performance?

My machine has multiple video cards. When playing WOFF should I disable SLI to gain better results? Or can I just leave it enabled, knowing that although it won't help it also won't make it worse?

When I had AMD cards, Crossfire actually hurt, but that was with OFF several years ago.

I guess the only way you will find out now is to conduct some tests using some of the "canned" missions so everything is the same each time while looking at your FPS counter.

Thanks for the suggestion Panama.

I used one the "quick scenarios" to test it. With SLI enabled it had worse frame rates and was more unstable too.

Looks like the underlying CFS3.exe still can not use SLI or Crossfire then even with all the driver updates.

Maybe just me but every time I bought an SLI or crossfire card each time in the past I ended up selling it for a higher end single card. More problems than they are worth in many games I tried.

My rig is OK on less than " max 5's " after I replaced 3 small SLI cards with what I have now.

I am wondering what to do now, up grade CPU and /or VID card?

ANY IDEAS??

Before doing anything, have you tried overclocking your CPU since you have a "K" chip and it's designed to overclock ???

+ thumbsup

I believe your board and bios offers preset OC options that make things easy.
