Thanks! Time for some Imperial Courier pr0n Is it just me or is it getting hot in here? Don't scoop me bro! Personally if I was running a secret pirate base I'd try to keep things discreet but hey giant holographic blood skulls work too I guess.

How are you liking the Courier, and what are you using it for? I've just started building up my Imperial ranks with the plan to buy one.

I don't know what I'm looking at but I like it! Waterworld, now with 100% less Kevin Costner. Dark rings...

Recently discovered that I could turn the materials quality setting to high with no performance change. It basically just means some textures are nicer. One reason why it can be hard to get a sense of scale in Elite - The ships have huge canopies. The Asp's bridge for example is the size of a small apartment! Leaving Faraday with my new Diamondback Scout Very cool landing animation where the engines and 'wings' fold down. It's only when you get up close you realise even an Anaconda is tiny next to a Coriolis starport...

So I hopped in my Type-6 and took her out to the Veil Nebula about 1,500 light years away. The expedition begins Jackpot! Three terrestrial water worlds with carbon based life. Going in for a closer look Punch it! *Ding* You have reached your destination Taking in the sights Selfie Heading home. Don't look back or you'll never want to leave.

Nice.I take it that was an undiscovered system? What sort of payday do you get for that,I've yet to find one but then again compared to you I'm still tooling around in my back yard.

Using a detailed surface scanner and scanning the stars and about two dozen planets of interest net me about 1.5 million for the whole journey. A nice return! Oh, yes and I got quite a few undiscovered system bonuses. Made the entire trip in three sessions over two days. Probably 5-6 hours total time.

IIRC anything previously undiscovered it's twice the paycheck. Except for asteroid belts, which are worth nothing. Here's a neat little size comparison between the Type-6 and the Type-9, check out the size of the hatch on the rear.
