I am thinking of getting a CH Pro throttle, mainly for the little joystick it has.
I have worn out two X52's throttle mini joysticks, so I thought I may try the CH one.

Currently I own CH pedals, yoke, Throttle Quadrant and they have served me well, but was not sure if these little joysticks on throttles are meant for constant use. Since I already own a CH Throttle Quadrant the Pro throttle would just be for a throttle with a mini joystick.

I like using the little joysticks but are wondering if they are not really meant for constant use. I cant imagine there is much room for good pots with these mini sticks.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Internet
This mini-joysticks is the same used in console gamepads, the durability depends on manufacturer quality.

Look at Mouser.com and see the price of brands ones and look at eBay or Alibaba and see the prices of no-name ones.

Exist "mini-joysticks" with HALL sensor (contact less) instead potentiometer - used in some console gamepads - but since these cost ~5$ and the ones with pot' cost 0,50$ the joystick manufacturers dont use the first type.

Despite their antiquated look and outdated electronics (USB 1.0, 8 bits) CH controllers have reputation in use good
quality potentiometers, at least better than Saitek ones.

I think I will just get one soon and see what they are like, and try not to over use it.
