Gerard Butler returns to play the same character he previously played in Olympus Has Fallen.
Will I go see this at the theater?
Probably won't!
I'll pass final judgment in the upcoming months after I see a full trailer.

Ridiculous.
I avoided both this film and the copycat film from Roland Emmerich titled "White House Down" like the plague.

They were both over-the-top action films that happened to be set in the White House with the President as the McGuffin.
Personally, my favorite of those types of films is still In the Line of Fire. The Eastwood/Malkovich cat-and-mouse game played out very well with a lot of tension.

"In The Line of Fire" is excellent specifically because it didn't resort to over the top stunts and action, it had an intelligent believable story and the cast had excellent actors.

I was surprised they chose London for the sequel. I think a movie titled "Vaduz Down" would have been a lot more catchier.

As long as you go into it not expecting much both films were entertaining. If you go into it looking for a best picture nominee you're going to be disappointed.
