I have only tried WOT for less than 15 minutes. Just could not get into it and it was laggy as hell.

But I'm curious what features in War Thunder were in WOT first?...

Kameraden,

I tried WoT before WT:GF and it drove me crazy, the arty in the game is laser accurate and the moment you are spotted you get one shot'd.

It might get better later on in the game as you can develop something called Sixth Sense, but right now it's just not worth the frustration.

Granted, WT:GF can be horribly one sided based on OoB and weapons / armour issues.

But right now I am still playing it.

S!

IIRC, WoT was on a HP system, meaning bigger tanks took time to kill. WT models crew kills, ammo explosions, and fuel fires. I don't remember much of WoT now to be honest... just that it was fun for a while then the Russian tanks just took over after a certain level. I feel WT has more balance, maps are bigger, and the game modes are more interesting.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Having briefly tried WoT, the only thing I found that was better than WT was the ability to trade-in your old kit.
