It's been about a year since I've even looked at DCS, so of course I've forgotten everything and have to relearn the basics sigh

There's a bit of fun to be had though if you're willing to put up with some frustration. (Ok, maybe a lot)

Having some fun strafing up targets in Instant Action. It's about 50/50 whether I'll actually get the rockets to fire. Guess I should rewatch that tutorial...

Thanks!

I've been trying out the A-10A. Massive frustration. I've read the manual, checked the controls, selected my weapon, locked the target and the computer tells me I've got a good firing solution. WHY THE HECK WON"T MY MAVERICK FIRE!?!?
I used to do this no problem, have they updated the DCS world module to include redundant safeties or something? Is the manual out of date? The enemy can fire no problem, I've got the burning wreckage to prove it!

You know, that you have to hold down the second firebutton for a short time for the mavs to fire?

Interesting. Be right back checking whether I'm dumb or not.

Edit: Thanks! We have launch. May the Russian armoured divisions quake in their boots.

Great shots! I haven't played this in a while myself. Time to check it out again.
