Are you sure? I had them loaded and when I tried to select secondary it kept saying there was nothing to select...this before the latest patch and add-on I mean,I always forgot to ask how to use them.
Gotta check again then.

Flares are mostly for fun currently so not essential.

find these types of aircraft. In the future these types of aircraft
included in the dynamic campaign?

They are already "in Campaign",you can test them in QC mode,or if you are already ahead in time with your current Campaign,start a new one earlier.

You need to find them, go to Pilot Dossiers, Enlist new pilot, Manual squad deployment, change service to "Recce/Bomber) for pfalz AI.

Try 1915 1 March FFA3 Lb

Pfalz AI is listed first in the aircraft dateline list

You must enlist as a top rank pilot, as it shows you it's only available to top rank pilots.

Others squads for example 45b, 46b, 47b (and maybe others)


If you use autodeployment you can let it find squadrons that have that craft PFALZ EIII OR AI (choose 1915, choose a pfalz as aircraft type, Start Career Enlistment, it will find squadrons, press X to go to next one make notes.. then go to manual and choose and set rank if there is a rank assignment).
Pfalz EIII is october time.

I got the add-on but am having way too much fun in 1917 and 1918 to do early war stuff.
The only plane I may get some use out of is the N27 Lewis but I hear it does not have the typical RFC gunsight which I am awfully in love with. Have not checked it for myself yet.
