I finally picked up Door Kickers on the Steam Sale. I've been wanting this for over a year and mainly due to Magnum's posts, descriptions and accolade of this game. Well I love it. Its just as they've said. This feels like Rainbow Six in tactics. I like that you can customize somewhat your own team. It is difficult and I'm still working on getting used to the interface and controls. Sometimes it seems the directional arrow commands that I try to put on waypoint hashes doesn't always register because it takes me to the character menu that show equipment and waypoint editing functions instead. I made a quick video of my first attempt at running through a scenario in one sweep using the go codes. Very fun but challenging. I don't think I'd be a good Chess player lol.
Anyhow here it is along with two of my unit edits. Right at the end I put one of my guys in the line of fire of another.(Whoops didn't see that coming shame on me)
lol I just discovered that the game actually recorded the sound of my Zen Garden station from Pandora that I was listening to while playing Door Kickers.

Nice! The soundtrack is indeed an interesting choice, lol. Did they model wall and furniture penetration already? I seem to remember that wasn't implemented yet last year.
It's on sale at gog.com right now for five bucks, it really is a great game.
