Next week's VOWOPANZ will take place in the nice new country of VIRIDIA
Situation and OPFOR Parties:VIRIDIA is a small country, with it's big neighbor SEALAND to its west and north.
Due to a long, sometimes less then peaceful history of the 2 nations, there is a large minority of ethnic SEALANDERS living in the north-western provices of VIRIDIA.
SEALANDis currently experiencing a time of economic turmoil and political instability. So the local ruler tries to get the interest of its people more toward foreign policy IOT distract from i´the homegrown problems.
He there found new interest in the "poor oppressed" SEALANDERS just across the border.
SEALAND forces and allies:SEALAND military:
Consists of 2 Mechanized Divisions, each with 3 Mechanized Regiments. As well as a Brigade sized Presidential guard.
Equipment and training quality varies.
Most Line units are equiped with 70's and older Sovjet gear. (T-55, BMP-1, BTR, T-62)
The Presidantial Guard is able to field T-72s and T-80s
Due to fear of a coup-d-etat, the Regular army is kept factionalized. Single commanders are given favours, corruption is ripe. Not all units are 100% loyal to el-Presidente and esp. in the Colonel ranks, some are eying for the throne themselves.
The press coverage and political discussion in our home countries, might be interpreted by some of them as unwillingness to risk a fight for the VIRIDIAN interessts.
SEALAND, Militant factions in VIRIDIA:
Various militant groups, offen fighting amongts each other, but in gerenral sympathetic to the cause of a "greater SEALAND" have be supported by the SEALAND government.
Support goes as far as providing training, advisers and equipment.
In recent week activities of the organizations have increased. The following groups are active in the border provinces:
1.)SEALANDIC-LIONS(SL):
-about 200-300 individuals
-equiped with small arm, heavy maschine guns, mortars and RPG
-manly active in espionage, criminal networks, extortion and simple IED strikes
-about 10-15% of its manpower received basic infantry training an might be able to conduct
smal scale operations
2.) THE LIONS of SEALAND (LoS):
-sworn archenemy of the SEALANDIC-LIONS
-about the same in size and abilities
3.) POPULAR FRONT of SEALAND (PFoS)
- another brutal insurgent organization,
However, INTEL reports that he lately developed heavy Obesity and is currently not in fighting shape.
VIRIDIAN Military About one Division.
Training level is low. But NATO is currently providing an advisor and training mission.
Eqipment is a mix of Sovjet and Obsolete NATO equipment.
SITUATION in the DEU/FRA sector: 
Enemy:
LoS activity in the area has increased. We estimate that about 20-40 well equiped figthers are in the area.
Across the border, SEALAND's 15th MechRgt has left it's barracks. Col. Adamov, commanders of the Rgt has accused the President of beeing to soft in the negotiations, a beeing a traitor to the sealandic cause. So the mobilization of his unit seem to be the result of an internal power struggle.
Probable intent: Col. Adamov is likely to try gaining military success against VIRIDIA IOT to strengthen his domestic position and maybe cause other units to join him.
He is obviously bargening on NATO not making a stand.
With his units moving forward to the border, the allied LoS is likely to try gaining a securing vital installations and terrain to enable a succesful operation of the 15th MechRgt.

Own:
JägerBtl 292 and 3e régiment de hussards are part of the NATO peace keeping force currently deployed in the CELLE area. The Units have been alerted and a currently on the march towards BERGEN and MUNSTER IOT intecept the advance of 15th MechRgt
Bravo-plt 2./292(+) together with engineers from 550 company, supported by a detachment from
2nd escadron, are stadioned as
QRF-1 in FOB-MARS in BERGEN.
Mission:
DEU/FRA-BG is to quickly deploy to the border as a show of force measure. The intend is to show NATO willingness to defend VIRIDAN sovreignty and if needed give 15th MechRgt a bloody nose. The aim is to prevent an all out war in the region.
QRF-1is to:
-moves ahead of the BG to RIVERTOWN (OBJ-1) and pushes LoS elements out of the city
-secure the brigdes in RIVERTOWN with 550 engineers, 550 remain at the crossing
until rest BG has crossed and deployed to the border
-takes the hight ground (OBJ-2) near TUTENBERG before 15th MechRgt can cross the border
-denies acces to OPFOR to the key-terrain , OBJ-2
-holds ts positons till relieved in place
RoE:
-fire at will against positively identified, armed LoS members
-NO crossing of international border
-no fire across the border, except in selfdefence
-all SEALAND military personal east of the border is a legitimate target
Fire Support:
1 battery from ArtBtl 295 will support
1xFO team from 295 attacked for this mission
CSS: -Medic available
-recovery by support from 550 engineers
- follow on supply after the QRF-1 has been relieved.
