I only saw Harriers once. It was in 1983 and the Invincible was on a visit to Sydney. She was over the horizon for us in Cairns, but I won't forget seeing a bunch of harriers beating up Cairns in North Queensland.

This was as the Carrier Group passed by. We had a Leander in for a visit, I can't remember now but it was a Greek classical name like Aphrodite. A frigate. Boy those sailors never paid for a drink.
