An Indiana man was arrested after allegedly attacking his fiance because she said IndyCar racing is superior to NASCAR, according to a report. Indianapolis TV station WRTV reported the incident happened Sunday as friends gathered in Johnson County to watch the Indianapolis 500.
Fools F1 is the superior sport. Anyone who knows anything about motor sports knows that!
And NASCAR isn't a racing sport! The race is just the prelude for the main event! The all out brawl!

I'll take a wild guess and say that the engagement is off.

NASCAR nowadays is basically the WWE with wheels. Neither is based in reality, and both serve as redneck soap operas.

Because the media obsesses with salty characters doesn't mean it isn't an actual competition, that's a bit much. The NFL has plenty of toolbags 100 times worse than angry drivers and there's still a competition there. Hardly a reality TV series.

+1 Finally had to give up watching Nascar this year since the stupidity has finally overcome the racing.
The main Nascar attraction is now the WWE officially sanctioned controversy and fights and the Darrell Waltrip style dumb boogety-boogety announcing which has reached caricature level, I just cant watch it anymore.
Unfortunately I think a large number of Nascar short-track fans enjoy it and consider it "the real Nascar roots", as seen in the wrecks and the fights at Bowman Gray Stadium:
So I actually agree with the woman, the last two Indycar races have been awesome, Nascar better watch out as it's a better show to watch for people who enjoy *racing* and not soap operas and purse swinging fights...
Also as a loyal F1 fan since I was a kid, F1 has been fairly boring the last year or so with the crappy sounding cars and fuel saving and KERS and Mercedes having such an advantage over the rest of the field, I'm just glad Ferrari seems to be getting it's act together and finally challenging them somewhat.
MotoGP and Indycar have had some of the best racing recently for me personally.
There's been a stark increase in the number of reported incidents of stupidity.
I call it 'Acute Stupidity Syndrome' or ASS.

This is what I hate about racing, you're allowed to purposely spin someone and no penalty happens. It happens in all motor sports, if you're not fast enough to pass then too bad. But then you have tracks like Monte Carlo and the F1 series. Where the hell do you pass on a track like that??
I tried watching 2 sessions and it was boring as can be.

It doesn't help that the commentators have zero personality.
People can complain about NASCAR but at least Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds are fun to listen to IMHO.

I'm with you on Mike Joy and Larry McReynolds and the pit-side team, they're great and insightful, but Darrel Waltrip is a moron and everything that comes out of his mouth is obvious stupidity and dumb yuk yuk humor, it's so hard to sit through it...
I had hoped DW would retire from commentating soon, but I hear Larry McReynolds is retiring instead and Jeff Gordon will be joining Darrel Waltrip in the commentating booth for next season

There's a fine line between purposefully spinning another driver and/or getting your nose in for a pass and having the space close up from blocking...which will spin the blocking driver.

Yeah, Darrel is not the sharpest tool in the shed but he's still entertaining to listen to for exactly that reason.
As for Gordon, I think he'll be good in the booth.

Haha good enough, I guess I do tend to prefer the more factual/knowledgeable (some might say dry) commentating style and DW is the exact caricature opposite of it... I like Gordon, I just hope he doesn't try to follow up on DWs moron style hehe
