Been having WOFF woes as of late, and "Pol" suggested that I calibrate my monitor instead of using SweetFX to get rid of one Mod.... So I did.

Cant't say my native pc calibration did much, but setting the colors (etc) with the nvidia controler certainly did. I may not get that same luminar effect, but the AA settings are just awesome coming from the GPU. The colors are about right too. So its bye bye SweetFX for me.... try doing using the card to get a better picture.

Yes I found the same thing.
With the right colors, contrast, brightness, etc, via a good ICC profile, SFX became quickly superfluous.

I can also vouch for using a good ICC profile. Duke, looks like you have another convert.

What, may I ask, are your ICC settings? Mind sharing them?

Are you asking me or Duke? If me, then I'll share them tonight because I'm at work right now, if Duke, then I can't speak for him.

Hellshade, here is the website where I got my monitor's ICC profile. If you can't find the make and model of your monitor it doesn't really matter, you can use any manufacturer's profile and it will work. You might want to experiment a little because some profiles are brighter and some are warmer.

Hellshade the profiles are listed by monitor type as someone with a Colorimeter has determined this is the best look (in their opinion of course) for your specific monitor but as BJM says they are all interchangeable. Below are the numbers for the profile I am using. Oddly my monitor is not listed so I used the closest equivalent model.
This was actually the first one I ever tried and I was so impressed I kept it.

Colorimeter: X-rite i1 Pro

Gamma: 120 cd/m2

Brightness: 32

Contrast: 70
