I'm not surprised but my Canon iP4600 printer does seem to work, even with the W7 drivers. Even that on wasn't very good so I normally print via a Virtual XP machine. Canon is not good at updating drivers for printers they don't sell any more.
And the TrackIr software seems to work ok, I get the green lights but it doesn't seem to want to connect in WOFF. ie I don't get the blue lights when I run up an aircraft. I am running TrackIr as an admin, maybe I need to run WOFF.exe as an admin as well?
If I can't get TrackIr to work with WOFF then this exercise is all a waste of time.

Got the printer to work ok now with the latest driver (for W8.1 so it says). Got it from the Canon Europe site so I take back what I said about them I updated the game list, selected WOFF and now it works - I get the green and the blue lights. I didn't know I had to select WOFF in the game list. IIRC OFF was never in the list and yet TrackIr used to work ok. Not to worry now. BTW the mod enabler works fine. Now I want to wind up my stopwatch and see what timings I get.

I disconnect the not used OS drive and then boot from only the one I need. I can't see any way that Microsoft can stop me doing that. So I am not 'dual booting' but 'single booting'. I understand that Jim,but an external disk will never be as fast as an internal one ( say an SSD),it's on an USB Bus,way narrower data band flowing.

I do not boot from my 2Tb external USB drive - which is USB 3 and pretty fast. The case is open so to disable a disk I disconnect the SATA cable. The case is ANTEC so the drives go in sideways which makes this easy.

The external drive is used for EasUS backups and all installation files including all of WOFF - though those are backed up to DVD just in case! What with all the mods it is quite a bit of data.
Now I am going to go to Catalyst Control Center here on the W10 drive and make sure the parameters for video are the same as on the W7 drive so I can compare WOFF 7 with WOFF 10 and see what framerates I get etc. Personally I reckon it will be about the same on both OS's

Yes but since this is a preview it's obvious you have to retain your old OS,when the final stuff will be out we'll see what they want to do.

For sure Cavaliere57 using any pre release software has risks and caveats, best not to bother unless you like to experiment or rebuild PCs Very true!!!
