I just checked and IS-3s are Tier V, BR 7.0 tanks... but I just can't seen to find a way to deal with it with my BR 6.7 Tiger II H and P. Suggestions?

Not much you can do. After the latest patch, sloped armour saw a significant buff, which turned the IS-3 from a mediocre experience into a complete beast. The already powerful IS-4M also got even more powerful. So at BR 6.7, facing IS-3s, means you got uptiered. At that point all you can do is hide and pray, hoping for another 7.x tank to deal with the IS-3.
You can obviously go for the usual weak points like the back of the tank, back of the turret, the 'neck' of the turret etc. but in a hectic battle, you will be outmatched 10/10 times by the IS-3.
People are even calling for the IS-3 to be moved to BR 7.7 or even 8.0
Tier 5 tankers in 8.0 tanks simply give up if they see a frontal facing IS-3 because that frontal spike and turret slope can be penetrated by nothing, basically.
Suggestion; run.

Yeah, so no way to deal with it then. Are you even saying other BR 7.0 or 8.0 tanks can't pen the IS-3?

Yeah, so no way to deal with it then. Are you even saying other BR 7.0 or 8.0 tanks can't pen the IS-3? Well, they can by using AP shells which are monstrous at Tier 5, still requires you to find the IS in a vulnerable position. Plus the increased shell penetration means less chance of deflecting when actually finding a weak spot. Found this Reddit thread on the tank, which has a few pointers that involve HE shells and some certain weak areas you can go for, if you care to read it; https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/35el05/how_to_deal_with_is3s/ People seem to mention the lip of the turret.

I don't go German vs allied at this level anymore because the IS3 is indestructable. German side rarely wins even in sim, if there are 2-3 IS3s in the other team and they are smart enough to work together. It only makes sense to be with them, than against them right now. Hell, I even got killed in my Tiger II the other day by an IS3 which disabled me with its first shot, and then killed me with its MG while I was repairing. Its damn MG??? H

Ah yes good old Russian equipment! World of Tanks and War Thunder both are Russian developers and although I am not inclined to say Russian bias they do seem to be a little optimistic about the performance of Russian equipment vs other countries sometimes.
One day the West will fall. But if the Liberty for which we fight is taken up by the world then the West will not have failed.
