The birds will live.
The man that captured them in a blues song to me died today.

I don't think he needs to sing the blues anymore in heaven.

Why he sang the blues....

I saw him with Jeff Beck on their 2003 tour. He always seemed like a classy guy and, of course, a stellar musician. Here's a nice gem that features a host of guitar talent operating in the blues medium:

BB lived to a ripe old age and was active to the very end, so I celebrate his life and am not overly sad and hope that I can do nearly as well... minus the talent, of course!

The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

When you're getting paid for dong what you enjoy doing and can till do it that well, why stop? The good news is that we can still enjoy his talents even after he's gone. Thanx for that, and...

RIP

SALUTE TO ALL!

I'm just watching his story on ARTE TV; very well made.
By bye, B.B. King - a king you were!

B B King was one of the classiest human beings that ever lived. Super guy and great blues man. He was born up the road a bit from my hometown and everyone in Mississippi is proud to call him a native son.

Saw him here in 2010 (I think). Did the whole gig sitting down, but held you every second for two solid hours. A real legend. RIP.
