I never knew how they did it, but I have a friend whose parents escaped Cambodia and ended up in nails too. She didn't even know either.

That's actually a really cool story.

Even in Miami most of the nail salons have Vietnamese workers. And no, I've never actually used their services but I do notice these things when I'm walking in the malls.

My GF goes monthly, they even do facials she says. She just hates how they don't talk English for the most part.

Pretty interesting story

Depending where you are.

In Los Angeles it's mostly Korean women that do your nails.

Funny enough, my wife did that in HS and college, even owned her own, but she never had any Asians in hers. Pretty much had the rest of the spectrum as it was in Ft Lauderdale, but I think the Asian ones tend to congregate together for familiarity.

Had a spate of signage orders for a sudden influx of Nail bars in Worcester a few years ago; all run by Vietnamese.

mom, and had pet african lions around the house
when melanie was growing up. She now runs a
shelter for wild animals (mostly ex-hollywood
ones, at least originally).

And Melanie Griffith is Dakota Johnson's mom, so we go from The Birds and teaching an entire nation a trade to Cherry 2000 to Fifty Shades of Grey.
