Fawlty Towers was a brilliant sitcom, short a run as it had.
I've not watched my MP collection (I have everything on DVD, films, shows, specials) in many years now, I'll have to watch it again when I finish up watching what I'm in the middle of now.
Right now, that's the 17th season of South Park.

I think The Wachowskis brother and sister (for those of you who do not know this already, they were originally 2 brothers but recently, one of them had a surgical procedure turning him into a female) had good intentions when they came up with the story for this movie but somewhere along the pre-production and production, their creative process and thought was lost.
This movie is a mess!
Where do I start?
The pacing of the narrative was erratic due to poor editing.
Who the heck edited this movie? Whoever the hell he or she is, he or she needs to go back to editing school.
Scenes were cut off in mid execution.
Scenes appear out of nowhere without any previous references or exposure.
Characters are shown never to be shown again. Did the Wachowski not have a continuity person?
Great actors like Sean Bean are wasted.
The story is an even bigger convoluted hot mess.
Who is who?
What are their motives?
Who is on which side?
Wait!
Aren't they all the same family?
The action sequences felt like they were just thrown in because "Yo! We have $176 million dollar budget and most of it is for CGI and SFX so let's have another cool chase in space scene. Don't want that money to go to waste, do we?"
Hey Wachowskis!
Now that you had the chance to sow your creativity oats with one movie failure after another: Speed Racer, Cloud Atlas, Jupiter Ascending, etc. etc.

I'm honestly stunned that people like the Wachowskis and Shyamalan still get funding for big budget movies.

Truth in 24 II, it's good but by no means great. Definitely worth watching though especially when you consider how few good motorsport documentaries there are.
Speaking of which, I think it's time to watch Senna again. Amazing film, even those who don't know or care for Formula 1 can appreciate it. Perfect to watch with your wife/gf!
This is Bobby Rahal, thanks for playing the trial version of Microsoft's CART Precision Racing
Yet other threads started by other IMDB members voicing their dislike and negative impression of the movie are allowed to stay one including one titled 'Worst movie ive seen walked out', another one titled 'Cringe inducing, couldn't sit through it', and lastly one titled "A maid? Really? A toilet cleaning maid.....'
IMDB is very biased sometimes.
Especially if you post that you didn't like a popular movie that almost everyone likes like The Dark Knight or The Avengers, people will brutally and rudely chew you up and gang up on you as if you are not allowed to have a different opinion on anything.

SS Politician was an 8000-ton cargo ship owned by T & J Harrison of Liverpool. It left Liverpool on 3 February 1941, bound for Kingston, Jamaica and New Orleans with a cargo including 28,000 cases of malt whisky. The ship sank off the north coast of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland, and much of the wreck's cargo was salvaged by the island's inhabitants. The story of the wreck and looting was the basis for the book and film Whisky Galore!.

So in the middle of WWII amidst the ferocity of the Battle of the Atlantic, the UK was sending shipments of whiskey to Jamaica and the US? I'm glad to see that the right priorities were in place!

Meh. Not bad, the premise is initially intriguing and they get over it before it becomes dull, but the overall world isn't explained until an 11th hour exposition scene which you almost instantly distrust.
The bigger problem is the cast is almost entirely unknown young male actors. When a former supporting cast member from Game of Thrones and another from We Are the Millers are the two most known faces...
My guess is 95% of its box office take was from the under 25 crowd.

Makes sense when you consider the movie is based on one of those trendy "young adult" novels.
