I don't have high hopes, not 1 well known actor There have been some exceptions. "District 9" didn't have a single well known actor (at least in the US) and that one turned out very good and it even did well at the box office.

Rule of thumb:
Use recycled cliches, get mediocre or poor reviews, make decent or great money at box office
Use "fresh ideas", get good to excellent reviews, make subpar or little money at box office
This is why 90% of the time cliches win. You're lucky if there are a few new ideas snuck in, but if you deviate from what is known to make money you find the mass audiences (which are the source of the funding, niche audiences don't pay the bills no matter how much noise for or against a film they make) lose interest or are driven away.
