Interesting. At first I was sorry I didn't have a Titan X, until I watched the middle video which showed the GTX 980 in SLI consistently beating the Titan X in gaming FPS. Now I'm happy. Dual 980s is the way to go. smile2

I own the XFX 295x2. It can't be beat as far as a single card solution goes for $600-$700 U.S. The drivers are finally maturing for it too with lovely CrossfireX profiles.

$1500 for the Titan X, no thanks! Wait 6 months for that price to drop...

Single GPU versus dual GPU from the same generation ... It's a bit of a no brainer. The Titan-line of GPUs are not specifically designed for gaming either, hence the price and the heaps of VRAM. There's a reason why some smaller 3D studios and whatnot buy Titans in droves, because they are a great alternative to the insanely priced Quadro cards.
