Hi, I'm just finishing a new Curved Display System. It uses 2 short throw projectors giving you a 180º x 60º Field of View without any bezels to get in the way. All of this at a distance of less than 1m. This also uses the Simpit Technologies Black Pearl Screen. I'll post some pictures when its ready. BR Rich

MK3 update. This allows for a 270º FoV as well as making he whole unit much more stable. (not the best image, sorry) BR Rich

Yeah, why are there braces around the part where there is no screen? Instead of it being a circular arrangement, why not just have a 270-degree curve?

Duuuuuuuuuuude.
That is AWESOME! And it's actually pretty affordable AND looks like it's really space-friendly (a major stumbling block for home sims).
A couple Qs:
-Does it play nice with TIR?
-Is that the 270 or the 180 shown above?
-Different projector setups for the 270 and 180 versions?
-And chance we could get a few shots fully zoomed out, to show the overall size of the unit as a piece of furniture?
-Would it be possible to DIY the frame from plans without advanced CNC equipment? Perhaps basic wood working tools (Table, jig, miter saws, router, etc.)
