Not sure why, but it seems as I go through each months GI mag there's less and less games I'm looking forward to.

Not a fan of any of the Fantasy games and the Battlefront game was not was I was hoping for.

This looks like a joke to me

Well I don't know but that new R6 doesn't look impressive to me at all. Too COD and BF looking. When it comes to Rainbow 6 one of the last things I want to see is an enemy or friendly outline superimposed through walls.

This series has really lost its way. Maybe someday someone with the passion of the R6 games of yesteryear will come along and resurrect the series to its former glory.

Personally I'm really excited about and looking forward to The Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain.

Same two for me along with Forza 6 and Battlefront.

If how good the prologue size Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is anything to go by, then the full MGS5: Phantom Pain is going to be terrific.

I'm looking forward to Rainbow Six Siege, Star Wars Battlefront (which will be huge), Forza 6, Halo 5 and Project Cars, just a few off the top of my head. I think E3 this year is going to be really good and give plenty to cheer about.

I will get Siege, but I am a little concerned about it... to me all the gameplay videos look to be moving to the action side instead of the old classic tactical side.

But pCars, Witcher 3, and then later this year... Star Wars battlefront, should keep me busy. wink

Hell Witcher 3 is 200 hours plus, might tale me all summer and fall for that one.

I'll be all over that SW Battlefront, but that's not out till Nov 17th. The new Laura Croft game looked pretty good, but might have to sign up for Game Fly cause I'm not sure how much the kids would play it.

Sick of buy $60 games and only getting a few months of play out of them.

I hear you TopGun. COD AW is the first time I bought a new COD for pc and not console and I've barely touched it. I'm sick of shallow gameplay and rehashes of rehashes.

I've got probably 27 hours just in MGSV's Prologue. Phantom Pain will probably be full of content. I'm playing Witcher 1 and 2.

I hear Witcher 3 is basically 200hrs and that probably doesn't really factor in side questing and certainly exploring nor the two expansions to follow. They know how to give you your money's worth.

About the only thing I'm interested in right now is Project CARS.

I'm not getting Battlefront. I'm not paying $60 for a multiplayer game with no other content.

To be fair, the first couple of Battlefield games had no single player story mode either it was just multiplayer all the time, they only started adding a SP story mode to compete with COD.

I never play the Battlefield SP mode either other than a few minutes to do my graphics settings and controls tweaks, MP is what makes the Battlefield games fun for me, and why I'm looking forward to BattleFront, I just hope they keep the fun.

To be fair I did criticise Titanfall for its lack of single player compared to the price which was the same as a game like Call of Duty or Battlefield with a full single player campaign although I see myself getting far more enjoyment out of Battlefront than I did out of Titanfall. One of my problems with the lack of a single player story in Titanfall was that it was a new franchise and the lack of a back story didn't give me as a player any interest in playing for a side or understanding why we were fighting, Battlefront wont suffer from that problem. The problem they have for Battlefront is any storyline they create will be scrutinised to the nth degree, more so than any other video game because of the legions of loyal Star Wars fans and the deep history to the overall Star Wars story so any minor point will be picked upon so why leave yourself open to that? Also maybe Disney are going to be strict over what can be produced so that any story in a game doesn't contradict or overlap any existing or future storylines they have as they already have a spin off film planned for next year, maybe if your hands are tied to a certain extent of what your story can cover, maybe they decided they couldn't do a single player campaign justice.

BattleFront is the only MP game I enjoy playing. Normally I can't hit anything when I shot. With BattleFront I grab a Stormtrooper and head out. I feel great because I can hit crap but its a stormtrooper so I am keeping with the movies!! lol

Battlefront will be just fine. It might not be what everyone expects but it will be a great game. The video game industry has changed significantly since the last Battlefront game came out. You honestly can't compare the 2. The fact that EA is doing it will lead to more criticism then anything else. You must remember previous installments of battlefront were made for PC not consoles. This one is for Consoles. So its really a brand new game with no history. IMHO.

As for other games, The witcher is going to be awesome and long. Also with the way seasonal sales are going you will be able to pick up most games dirt cheap at some point.
