I am trying to start SABOW in windowed mode. I have special setting 6.3, start in windowed mode enabled, but it starts in full screen mode.

Can I force the game to start in a window?

Regards MarkL

All progs (and games) for windows starts in window, even if it in fullscreen. SABOW not exception and starts in window too.

Please specify question correctly, what you want to get?

By windowed mode I mean with a border with the close and minimise icons in the top right corner, so I can resize if necessary.

As an example Flight Simulator (FSX) when started in windowed mode is like office. It starts smaller than your full screen in a resizable box.

The way SABOW starts in windowed mode I cannot resize it.

Hope this helps.

Okay, you need windows with borders not windows itself smile But this usually not used in games. In our game too. Sorry

And why is it necessary?

Not necessary at all, just a misunderstanding of what the option did.

Some games run faster on my system if running in a window, FSX does as well.
From what you have indicated my understanding of running in a window may not be correct. I have always taken it as being running in a seperate window, and that is what I thought the option was.

Looks like I was wrong.

SABOW _always_ running in window too. If you not disable this in options.

For many years, there is no difference when running in a window or full screen mode.
But in full screen mode there are certain problems when starting/closing the program. Therefore, in the game it is practically not used.

If you do not take special efforts, SABOW is always running in windowed mode.
Please do not advise this kind of software!
