I have my new skin in game mad works fine in QC. When I go to campaign it is not there and I did select it while in campaign load out section. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

make sure it is the correct aircraft version. If your skin is a DVII OAS and you are flying DVII without OAS it won't show up.

I would say check how you have it named.
WOFF is VERY particular about the naming format but if it shows in QC....

Interesting in that in my current J11 campaign I selected a skin from the drop-down box (unused HA skin) and it won't show in game either the squadron default does. Have not had time to research that one.

Put her in same squad in an ace skin. Fine in QC.

Hmm, my first guess is that it is a resource issue. I just ran a Rick Rawlings mission an early 1917 and my N17 skin showed fine. Maybe over a certain processor load threshold only default skins will show? Thoughts?

I don't know if this will help, but I've never had problems with any skins and I think Duke is onto the problem. The first skin I made I added my name at the end, but I capitalized my name and WOFF didn't like that. So, from that point on I've only used lowercase letters for my name and I haven't had any problems since. Like I said, that may not help but who knows.

Guys, I am leaning strongly towards a resource issue. I picked another skin from an easily distinguished ace and it still ran the default one. Even the other aces in our squad were in the default skin. Dudley Evans should be flying in his custom paint, but here you can see he isn't:



I guess that in mid 1918, there are too many resources being used on certain missions in specific regions to display multiple aircraft skins? Maybe a dev will chime in...

I would be surprised if the game engine decides on that all on its own so to speak.
But a "game resource overload/WOFF auto-cutback" is certainly one for the Dev's.
I would think the CFS3.sxe would CTD as the first sign of that.

I had problems like that, and I went to QC and selected a totally different aircraft
and flew it shortly. Then went back to the desired one, and selected my own skin.
Now it did show.

Wonder if that is a fix for my new J11 issue - selecting an unused HA skin from the dropbox options in the Loadout screen and it not showing in my campaign only the squad default. The couple of HA's left are fine with their skins. This issue is the first time this quirk has happened for me with a stock skin.
I'll give it a try.
