I transferred with No. 10 RNAS from FURNES to Droglandt on May 15th, 1917. Then WOFF manager automatically moved my first mission date to May 18th.

Is that a bug? Nope.

According to the book A History of No. 10 Squadron RNAS by Mike Westrop, page 41:

The transfer to RFC Control on the 15th May 1917 was initially something of an anti-climax with bad weather curtailing any flying activity for 2 days. The first patrol under RFC control took place at 11.55 on the 18th May.."

The historical research that has gone into WOFF literally spans 9 years by a very dedicated team.

It is pretty cool ain't it OldHat?
I have had several things that, at first seemed odd, but a check of a history book reveals it to be correct.
Amazing alright.

Its the difference between simulating World War 1 planes and simulating planes during World War I. OBD doesn't stop at just the flight characteristics. They include as much historical accuracy as possible as well to maximize the experience.

And succeed well IMHO.
Best sim I have ever had.
Course I have always been WW1 aerial geek for decades so I may be biased!

I didn't say it was perfect and OBD didn't say it was done.

Just the best WW1 aerial sim ever made. And the best sim overall ever made in my mind. But that's just me.
Consider it a work in progress if it will make you feel better - as OBD continually adds and improves things eh?

Care to expand? - we are working on the next expansion so anything is possible within time constraints.

If you are wanting all the various medals implemented well thats something that is a lot of work so no promises there.
But we have included the main ones since P3.

WM, From my perspective, it would be nice if we got bars to medals that have already been earned, such as a second DSO etc. It would also make sense to not issue multiple awards of the same type such as EK1, EK2 or VC, and that they would be issued in the proper order. Of course I recognize that the complexity to do all this may be too great a task in the short term.

Best Regards

Clearly Robert you stay much longer in a campaign then I do.
Dunno why I thought the use of "Bars" was already in-game but as I said I am usually doing a restart for OCD reasons...or dead! So I don't see too much of the medal system.
