Did try to adjust the FFB settings in the Aircraft .XFM files. Noticed the Albatros DVa does have a setting from 160 & -160 while the Camel does have 30 & -30 force scale.

*] Why is this positive and negative?
*] I would like to know what is the maximum force for each FFB?
*] Are there other setting that have influence on the different FFB settings, like where is the the gun FFB???

Lets concentrate on these questions please.

All very good questions and ones that I would like to know as well. Currently I set the Albs at 60 & -60. I also think there should be a smoother curve between the force max and release during a manouver. It seems to be a sudden drop in pressure release which seems un-natural. I would love to tune all this but I don't know where it could be done.

There's a guy over at the CombatAce forum who states that the M$oft Force Feedback joystick won't work with WOFF. Maybe you could set him right.

Please stick to the 3 questions I have. I want to test a little software tool to overcome this problem of not supporting FFB from the most used Joystick in a combat fligh sims the MS-FF2.

Dutch, your questions would be better put to the Devs than the user community at large. They support the code and can give a definitive answer whereas the rest of us cannot support impressions with facts. Suggest you put this question in the tech forum or PM Polovski.

I'm not talking about the game codes, but the files like the .xmf files you see in the aircraft folder, pure plain simple 3 questions, that's all.
Maybe I have found a FFB fix on the internet and want to do experimental test maybe helping all the owners of the MS-FF2 J.stick.

edit: Just incase somebody does go for the search option and find this post, warning this game does not support the MS-sidewinder FF2 USB joystick there is no support for and there will be no fix.

Well if you have something to test, by all means try it, share the knowledge, and many of us will be willing to experiment with it. At the moment, it looks like nobody has offered any solutions. I guess we will have to wait and see.
