I don't know why they don't just put the submunition count to match reality and tone down the visual effect until the performance is acceptable. Changing the submunition count is not an acceptable tweak for a simulation, especially with the non-existent fragmentation modeling. CBU-87 has 202 hit-to-kill HEAT submunitions. It's never had anywhere near that number in DCS. As such, it doesn't actually work to kill armor because it rarely hits them.
I also started playing BS2 again for jollies and the wingman AI is broken, like crash the exe when you give a command broken. As well, the old missions haven't been updated since the radio change as well so you can't even talk to wingmen in them.
