For anyone interested there is currently an original 4-volume set of Maurer's definitive history of the US Air Service in WWI for the bargain price of $60.00 plus $9.33 shipping. Here is the link:

I have this same set in my own library and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the role of the United States Air Service in the Great War. There is information in the this set that I've not found anywhere else.
