I check in every day to see what is going on, but post not very often. For as long as I have been around my post count is very small. Some of you are going for the max posting award ( is there one of those ?? ).
So when I want to post I find that I am asked to come up with my pass word. At almost 78 that results in "where in the world" did I put that list of passwords at" search. Or just ask you to send an email with a new one.
Is there any way you can make me " locked in with a pass word forever ". Come on and be kind to the Old Gezzer.
Thanks

Thanks CW3FS; Gee, and I thought I was the old Geezer at 68! May i suggest that you could keep a text document on your desktop with the passwords for all the web sites you visit so if you forget one, you can just open he text document to refresh you mind. Just a suggestion until you hear from someone official. Best Regards;

I write my passwords into my address book, under the correct letter. So the PW for SimHQ would be under "S". There I'd write: "SimHQ PW: xxxxxxxxxx" (insert your password) That way I can always find them again.

May i suggest that you could keep a text document on your desktop with the passwords for all the web sites you visit... That's what I do, except that I add Serial Numbers when necessary. And...I maintain a duplicate copy on all 3 hard drives.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

I have mine all on a text file, but I don't keep it in my computer. It's on a thumb drive and I only insert the drive into a computer when necessary.
My issue is that sometimes SimHQ will "remember me" and sometimes it won't. And further, when it doesn't and I log in again and click "remember my passord" (or however it's worded) I'm logged in when I get back to the forum list but when I go to WOFF forums I'm logged out again. Talk about short-term memory loss.
SALUTE TO ALL!

Once again "It did not remember me"!! And this after one day of going through the "goat rope" of a pass word redo!!
Who in thr hell is in charge of the pass word function ????
Does any one think I am up to no good and not trust worthy after 12 years on this site????
He who is in charge must get it right or face 30 days of KP as a "grease trap cleaner".
