They rebuilt the most dangerous walk in the world now open the tourists.
This first video was taken just before the rebuilding process and has some
serious pucker factor in it.

Watch them both in HD full screen for maximum effect.

This video must have just been taken as they have rebuilt the walk right above the old one.

I would take a walk on the re-constructed walkway. The old way, no way.

I'm surprised it's not completely enclosed. I expect now it's more accessible you'll have more loonys jumping from it, with or without a parachute!

You have to be sh*****g me.That does not look safe at all.Even if you are clipped on and fall, some of that 'safety equipment' hanging off the wall just looks ancient.

That one is a walk in the park compared to the one in China.

My question with that if someone in front of you is on one of those narrow ledges and you are way way up there and he is frozen solid in fear, what do you do?

How do you get around him? How do you get rescue to come get him?

I know a friend who has been there (he is a thrill seeker).

NO thank you!

Anything more than 2 stories high makes me dizzy and I will be frozen in fear.

I was at an office building for a meeting last month.

The building has a center open square shaped atrium on every floor that you can look down from the walkway that goes around the 4 sides of the square with hallways connecting the sides into offices.

The building is 15 stories high.

I kind of stood against the railing of the walkway and peeked down below and I thought I was going to fall over and I was only on the 9th floor!

Yet strangely despite my fear of heights, I have done Bungee Jumping in New Zealand and Sky Diving in Australia and I have been on top of tall monuments like the Eiffel Tower.

The amusing thing about Camino del Rey is that some people are complaining about the reconstruction, because now they don't have the added adrenline of falling to their death like they did before (which is why it was closed and rebuilt - people died).

When I was in high school my friend had a little two man sailboat. One day him, myself, and his 10 year old little brother were on it when we tipped over. Of course, us idiots weren't wearing life jackets. My friends little brother started to freak out (I didn't know he was afraid of water). That little sheet almost drown me when I went to help him. I had to put him in what was like a reverse half nelson before he killed the both of us. I shook for days after that.

Had that happen to me on a free climb.

You take whatever gear they have (if they'll let you have it) and talk them out of it. Takes a lot of patience.

Even that new one would test my limits a bit, but I could probably do it. That old one - videos of that thing literally (and I do mean literally) made my family jewels retract back into my body a bit.
