Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the blue unit highlight boxes in 3D mode? I am honestly not a fan, and I would like to turn them off.

If it is not an option, would anyone from Graviteam consider giving the option to turn them off? It is one of the only things that bug me about GTOS, which is otherwise staggeringly good.

There is no option in the options menu to disable the blue boxes, but if you left click your mouse it will turn them off. That is, until you select the next unit to give an order to.

The one change they made between Achtung Panzer and Op Star that I hate.

Do not turn off unit/squad markers or don't select units.

You can cycle hi-lite type using the middle 'circle' button on bottom left 3x5 panel.
You still get a marker, but the small colored dot looks better than the outline box when zoomed in I think.

Yes, but then you don't get the platoon icon. The thing is, the blue boxes are redundant because if you need to see individual squad/section members, the small dot option you mention is there anyway. Also, the blue boxes are just not very nice looking, and, being translucent, make it harder to see what is being highlighted anyway.

Pretty please, Andrey? Give us the option to turn 'em off!
