Zeimkiewicz Ring over in the Tsu system had a community goal going, hand in exploration data for the Alliance and get a nice cash bonus (1 million + Cr) and a discount on the Asp.

That last one with the sun behind that asp is fantastic ... you should enter that for that screen shot comp they mentioned in the last newsletter

Thanks, I'm not really one for entering competitions though...

Some Cobra shots with the mercenary skin. Does that make me Cobra Commander? wink

It's the mercenary skin that is available on most ships as a bonus for pre-ordering the game.

Hi-res shot of a ringed planet in the Almad system, there is a community goal there at Heinkel City. No He-111s though wink

Fantastic shots !
This particular thread convinced me to get E:D, which I did last weekend.

Man, steep learning curve. This sim is humbling biggrin

Cheers,

Thanks! It is a bit of a learning curve but it's well worth it.

Wow, the pic of the shot-up Asp is great, never saw this before

Here are a few o mine:

My first Giant Star, note that I`m over 300 ls away from it, a pity you can`t get nearer to them to grasp their size.

The planet in the pic before is the one on the system map, who else thinks calling it terraformable is a bit optimistic???

Nice place to get a tan. Well at least for the few seconds you survive! biggrin

And yes, the damage effects are pretty cool. The Anaconda actually splits open and you can see all the corridors and inner systems.

Got a few high-res shots, yes they lose a bit in the resizing but it still looks better than a regular screen. Better depth I think.

Some older shots I found. Including one of a hauler, sure is a difference moving from a 50,000Cr ship to a 50,000,000Cr one!

I could see myself getting this once there's an ability to exit your ship.

Being able to dock and get out of your ship to accomplish tasks, go take missions, etc. would be pretty sweet.

Isn't that in the development path down the line?

It is, but I'd much rather they focus on making the space flight as deep as possible first. I see walking around in space sims as a gimmick personally (thinking X: Rebirth, Star Citizen, etc)
