Great shots! Is this a joystick game, or are mouse controls acceptable?

I used to work for a living, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

There are plenty of people out there playing with mice and gamepads, though personally I'd consider a joystick a must. Even a cheap one like my 15 year old Logitech !

Nice pic by the way Corsair.

Thanks ! Another one from the same area :

Nice pic of that Imperial Clipper, they are beautiful ships and I always have a small tear when I have to shoot one down (but the bounty is usually good !)

Shots taken around Altair and Lave.

By the way, how is Lave supposed to be pronounced? Lay-v? La-vee? Lar-vay? L'ave?

Lave is pronounced as in 'wave'.

I love the attention to detail in this game ...

Wow, simply stunning! How do you guys take the external shots? Or are those other ships and then cropped the GUI/cockpit out?

Ctrl+Alt+Space starts up the debug cam, it's a bit slow and awkward so it's no good for combat shots, but perfect for scenery. smile

In case you don't know there is a high res screenshot function, press Alt-F10 and receive ~70MB of HD glory.

I had to downsize this one a bit lots to upload, I don't usually use uploader services so I hope the link works. Open up the image and zoom in. The station looks awesome close up.

If this was single player rather than multi I would be very tempted.

Well, by all means- while it is strictly on-line (i.e.: you simply need a continuous, stable Internet Connection) it IS single player if so you wish...

Solo mode is to play strictly with ONLY NPCs.
At the same time you still experience and interact with the dynamic social-economical background simulation.

(which may be debatable, but at the time of writing it is so)

You can also play in coop only mode against AI, called "private group" play

Mulder: *throws her a file* Ever heard of the knife alien?

I've really got to try a coop wing one day, I've only ever been playing in solo.

Type 6? I can just imagine that when we can walk around someone will open the top hatch between the engines instead of the bottom ramp and get a bit of a shock when they fall what looks like a good 6-7 metres.
