that was one of the reasons why I bought the 1TB AW console, but even with that it's adding up.

Get a 3TB USB3.0 drive, They are actually faster than 5400RPM-SATAII. That and when console goes to Service, you just detach HDD with profile and games, send it in, when it comes back re-attach, update permissions, and go Mine was 48% Full after downloading the games that came with it, lol.

Yeah I think there was something like only 350GB free on mine after that first update...
I bought a 3TB USB3.0 external drive for it, but I'm not sure that should be the solution, I always wonder if that external drive loads games slower than the internal one does...
On my PS4 I was able to just replace the 500GB internal drive with a larger internal drive, Sony makes it easy, you just open a panel and drop a laptop drive in, wish the XB1 had the same option to easily replace the internal drive with a bigger one.

I found that out recently when I benchmarked all my drives.I was quite surprised (but pleased).

USB3 Portabke 5400RPM Drives or even USB3 7200 Desktop USB Drives, The Xbox One read/write speed is Limited by its SATAII interface, using a USB3Drive will speed things up.

Ah thanks good to know!
I have been moving the XB1 games I don't play as much to the USB3 drive but knowing its faster I will switch that to be the default install drive.

I got a WD 3TB external installed. It was like $100 or so. I got 46 games installed and I am only using 29.6% of all my storage.
However I should never have had to buy an extra drive to fit games. M$ had to have known the size the games would be.
At least M$ allowed us to connect bigger drives this time and didnt make us buy a xbox only HDD.

I started to run out of space on mine a couple of months ago. Just took the games that I don't play much (or at all) and deleted them. I don't have a bandwidth cap and there isn't anything I own that I can't wait a couple of hours to download again.

I just recently upgraded my PS3 to a 500GB HDD. Was ridiculously simple. Thanks, Sony.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/wd-my-passport-x-external-gaming-storage,28861.html#xtor=RSS-998 Snazzy case but kind of pricy $139 for 2TB USB3.0, I bet the internal drive is the same the regular external case versions.. I got a similar WD 3TB USB3.0 drive for $80 a while ago, it just doesn't look so X box style like.
