Back when GTA V was released for 360, I did about 1 quarter of the SP and tasted the MP... now I finally got around to getting into it via XB1, and I'm absolutely amazed at the depth of this game... playing the 3 different characters, and how they all tie together, all the things you can do... and all 3 characters I created and play the way I would if I was really that character... I think if I was a criminal I would probably be more like Michael, but I also feel for Franklin and all the crap he's trying to do... and of course Trevor is just insane and really a lot of fun to play.

I relate to Michael because sometimes I feel my kids hate me as much as his hate him, and my wife sure acts like his wife... sometimes. wink

*BTW, that's how I'm going to look when I retire in a year or so. wink

Franklins a good kid, just trying to make it in the world... got him as my bike rider, custom made by me.

and Trever... well hell, he most portrays what I feel sometimes, even now in my real world profession... after 30 yrs I've become syndical, and anti-idiot human. lol

I got him all tat'ed up like I would like to be, but wife won't let me. lol

FUN FUN game... and I really haven't had to fight the cops too much, just lose them in a chase, (which I'm glad off)... most of the shooting has been other criminals. wink

Yeah Rockstar did a great job with the character development in GTA V.

I ended up liking both Michael and Franklin and can understand their behavior based on their life and situation, I don't like Trevor but I just play him as the drug lord psycho he is supposed to be, I just shake my head and grimace at some of the things he does... they did a good job making him be the guy you hate even as you play him hehe.

Overall GTA5 ranks up there with Vice City for me, good fun characters and stories, I also don't spend much time shooting at cops only when the mission needs it (stealing the guns from them), there's so much other fun mayhem to focus on hehe.

I'm just scratching the surface of GTA 5 (never played the series before and have not completed the GTA 5 Story yet - not even half way through).

I do like the character development. I play Franklin and Michael about the same - trying to lead a normal life without resorting to criminal activity.

For example, I just bought the Towing Company for Franklin so he can earn a decent living.

On the flip side I also bought the small airfield for Trevor for drug smuggling and I play him as reckless as possible without crossing the line such as deliberately killing someone randomly. I play him as a complete turd when dealing with NPCs - like running/walking into people honking my horn obnoxiously in traffic. And if a fight breaks out or if NPCs draw their guns then it's go time.

As far as Michael is concerned I was thinking about having him invest in the stock market, but I dont know how to do that yet.

My characters dont look like yours Magnum - mine have no facial hair. Do they grow facial hair later in the story line?
