Just seen this on Steam check it out, looks very similar to the old M1 Tank platoon games, includes a dynamic campaign, repairable tanks, retained wrecks on battlefields from past battles, and features some interesting tanks and periods.

Looks very cool, a bit pricey but considering the rather limited choice of armour sims that are around today that are actually fun to play and addictive its got to be worth a look. Wish they had a demo though.

If only it was as easy to understand as M1 Tank Platoon was.I put more hours into that game than I care to mention. SABOW is a great game once you get past the initial steep learning curve. I have yet to try out the 'new' version but will get around to it soon.

Other than the Steam release how is it 'new'? have they added much more into it recently? The Russian videos show the devs using BMPs and even infantry so there must be lots of extra stuff planned for this game methinks.
