Nice job, thank you!

Basically a more compact unit with more content.

CFM was needing some sfs files from other mod packs, this one does not.
This one has WWI, CFM did not.

There is a lot to download and that can take awhile depending on individual internet service but the install was easy, unzip into your game directory and play.

The manual has all necessary information.
No torrents yet but they say soon.

Feels a bit backwards to host mediafire first and later on the torrents.
This situation is exactly what torrents do best (and when all are done using download links torrents will go slow due to no users entering that protocol).
Oh well, I'm in no hurry for a long lasting sweetness like this smile

Yes the segments are modular.
You MUST install the Map pack (module1) but from there on in you can just install the modules you want.
So you could just install Module1(Map Pack) and any other modules as necessary. As none of the modules interact with each other (unless you mod them yourself) there is no reason (other than bandwidth and HDD space) not to install and try them all.
After all the hard work that went into creating these modules Its the least you could do smile

Sorry mate, IL2 WWII is what I want this for, been playing it for years.
If this can enhance it a little more it's certainly worth the download... that will be my third IL2 installation on my hard drive.
As to all the other modules, not for me unfortunately.

So how is this related to CFM or is it?

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

$2.49 for a cheap MediaFire count, plus Download Them All firefox extension, and I have a quick, easy download with no captchas.

Thanks for sharing.

I have a stock 4.12.2m installation directory ready.
Before I try to install CUP, is anything else needed? HSFX, Modact, SFS Files, anything like that as it was explained for CFM?

I find CUP pretty confusion, regarding the fact they announced CFM to be pretty easy to install and include everything.
Now there are many files and modules and other stuff not sure what it is for, that is linked on the SAS site.

You need Modact 5.30 - just follow these directions:

BEST INSTALL ADVICE:

The C.U.P. Modules drop into any install of - Il2/1946 + 412 + SAS MODACT (5.3) and do not effect existing #SAS folders

ONLY THE BASIC SAS MODACT 5.3 IS REQUIRED

SAS IL-2 4.12.2m Mega Patch
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38443.0.html

SAS Modact 5.3 for IL-2 4.12.2m
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,37662.0.html

The C.U.P. Modules will be updated in the usual way with subsequent additions, in SFS format, simply applied over the top of the existing install.

ALL ADDITIONAL OPTIONS ARE INCLUDED
Many JSGME tweaks and features may easily be added or removed, according to taste, whenever the player wants. Each is prefixed according to its effects:
#CUP - Universal Option applies feature to all modules
#DOF - Option applies feature to ‘Dawn of Flight’
#WAW - Option applies feature to ‘World at War’
#JTW - Option applies feature to ‘The Jet Age’

DO MODULE ONE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE
Get all nine parts of CUP Module One and UnZIP/UnRAR direct to your Il2 main Directory

NEXT APPLY THE FLIGHT ERA MODULES
Get them all or get the one that interests you most first off
Get ALL parts of the next module, currently 4 for DoF and JTW and 7 for WaW
UnZIP/UnRAR direct to your Il2 main Directory

Select the new Era with the new Selector and go fly!

The whole thing about CFM was its ease of installation... I'm hoping that this CUP will not make things confusing or difficult.
