Silly me.
I purchased a full-year Premium Account yesterday.
They better make a full tank sim out of it, or I got Gaijin'ed nicely on this one...

Cheers,
Slug

No shame man.
As my grandma used to say : If you have fun with it, there's no loss.

Works better in italian...

Alas. Good! I am having quite a blast with it.
I just wished it didn't have golden eagles as I could really spend a lot on those.

My take is that in the last year the tank part was really awesomeely improved. And there's no sign of slowing down.
The simple fact that there's a stable nno-icon mode and continuous sim events already speaks loud about their passion for it.

The neqest iterations with deformable terrain and the new crew viewpoints makes it all the more likely to expect a proper tank sim in the coming.

IIRC they have announced a proper world war type of campaign system for ground forces.

I gave in last week and bought some eagles for ground forces so I could have a few spare vehicle slots. I've never gone for a premium account,it will be interesting to see how that plays out Sluggish.

I've purchased several packs from them. M4A2 Russian 76, T-34E, KV-1E, KV-1B 756r, and the Pz-IIH. I've had a blast with all of them and think they're well worth it. I could care less for the Tier IV/V tanks so all my time is in the Tier II/III range.

I treat myself to some Golden Eagles once every two weeks just for the hell of it. I've still got 30 days of Premium account which I believe is more than plenty to grind the rest of my way and get what I want. smile

How much was a year ? I do the seven day premium every now and again and got five/six? slots on the German side when i first jumped in but i have pretty much ground all three nations (tanks) up to tier 4 and early tier 5 (German only three left i think) so don't feel the need to shell out any more, the rest i will grind slowly as i will probably never use them much.

I've thought about getting the M4A2 Russian 76, and the KV-1B 756r though. Hoping they do a special soon on them.

I can tell you the Kv-1B 756r is the Tiger of 5.0 BR. Its a beast! Only thing I back away from unless I have a flanking shot.
