AA can be a lot of fun, the problem i have is an itchy trigger finger and i generally have to run to the closest cap to reload at least once a match. Nice shot smile

I just got my first Sherman. Yay I thought, time to kick ass and own the battlefield. I was one-shotted within 30 seconds.Ah well, back to the drawing board hahaha

It seems to me that a lot of players know where to aim to get the ammo racks. I need a chart or something.

Exactly what happened to me biggrin

I use the tank viewer a lot, find out where the ammo racks are and where the thinner armour is when confronting tanks front on. The early Shermans are a one shot in those top front corners on the hull and side on like most tanks.

Update... I now own three vehicles in US tier 3, and currently researching my main goal in all of this, a 76mm Sherman. smile
However, I have left them to sit for awhile, whilst I have gone right back to tier 1 to complete research for every vehicle in that level.
Been at it for the last two days, and I have only the half track in tier one left to complete!
Having a blast, doing all my research for tier 1 in SB...
I'm slowly going to do every vehicle in each tier until I have caught up thumbsup

Another update... got back Sunday night. Managed to get tier 1 research completed for every US vehicle now.

Just about to have a go at completing research for tier 2 level vehicles. The good thing is that I have three vehicles that need research that are in the RB/SB event this week, so should be fun to get those completed soon smile

I decided to have a look at the crew training. What a lot of faffing about that was. I went through all my vehicles and aircraft as well. I'm no expert but I reckon it will take me ages just to get one member to 100% let alone the whole crew without the need to spend Eagles.

I don't bother with it... I just do the research thing.
Think I'll only get around to that when I have exhausted all vehicles that are available, then have a look at it.
If I had AI vehicles that required good crews then I might have given it a look... but as it is, I like relying on me and my abilities smile

Yessir. I'm addicted. Wife is hating it right now. Can't get me to do squat! biggrin

I did have my "drunk" moment tho. Every 2 weeks I buy 2500GE just for $hits and giggles. Well my wife and I went out Saturday night for our anniversary (9 years) and had a few too many to drink. Woke up the next morning, turned on WT, and find I had boosted research on the ISU-122 and had 0GE left. DOH!

I love my M5A1.It gets into trouble quickly but can get out of it just as rapidly. Not as rapid as my M22 but at least the M5 can survive a tree strike...

Tried my hand in the SB event with the M4 Sherman. God that solid shot you have to first use sucks something terrible! The tank can tank a hit frontally or angled and withstands the long 75mm of the Pz4s and Stugs but killing them is an entire different matter!

My first outing in it last night we were on Mozdok where I was able to kill 2 Stugs and a PzIV. All took 3-4 shots before succumbing to their wounds but when I didn't have surprise I was a sitting duck. Hurry up research and get me some APCBC! biggrin

I'm almost not interested in researching the big stuff. There is so much fun to be had in the shoot 'n' scoot stuff. I want the Chaffee of course!

Just unlocked the Jagdpanther and the Tiger II with the Porsche turret. Just missing the Tiger II with the Erwin Aders turret. Then my German 6.7 line-up is complete;

Unlocked the SU-100 a few days ago along with the T-44. Really disappointed with the turret on the T-44, incredibly weak for 6.7. Now I just need the IS-2 Mod. 1944 to complete the Russian 6.7 line-up.
