24 years in Asia, mostly sub tropical climate, I'll never get used to this single season thing.
Shanghai winters were real nice, with a true and painful bite if one is caught unprepared.

But here down South, winter lasted a whole week this time around.
Brutal 12C at its worst.

25C today.

We had it with dreary Shanghai weather and booked a short holiday in Phuket. Right after Chinese New Year so it's relatively quiet here now. 34C during the day, and oh, how I love this greenness of the tropics. And the fruit here...so juicy, such a taste explosion!

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
