Robert, there were changes made on the FMs of all or most planes, as far as I see.

Well excellent then.
Maybe a varied FM, combined with "Dicta Olham" may be the spark I need to try my Alb careers then in April 1917. That and a plan to avoid N23's!

4) Revised FM sideslip behaviours of all aircraft, and adjusted roll off behaviours. Also subtle improvements in many aircraft. For example DR1 is now able to flat turn with some slight aileron, adjusted some stall behaviours.

Looks like lots of FM revisions to me too, Olham.

There ain't no such plan - I'm afraid you'll need a plan for how to deal with them, Duke!
One way is to shoot out 7 from the 23, and you'll only have to fight a Nieuport 16 -
Mmuahahahahaaa!!!

Guys, I found in my three sorties yesterday, that the FM changes had a nice effect.
Everything seemed to go smooth as silk; former jerking and bumping I had seen on my Albatros
after sudden changes of direction, were now gone. At least that is my impression.

Olham are you using the mod I created to improve albatross performance because if you are you may want to remove it to see what the V2.05 patch is like in native mode.

After this latest patch it seems my current mount, the B.E.12, has gotten a bit heavier in the turns and its glide rate has increased as well. I found out both early this AM as Major Burroughs was coming in for a landing and his usual approach resulted in him being poorly aligned with the grass and having too much speed, causing him to go round for a second try. Felt like a fledgling he did.

Olham;

Haven't yet had a chance. I did load it last night but hopefully will fly today. I want to try it native and then put my mod in and see if I notice any change between both of them.

I feel the glide rate seems to be to long now and planes just dont wanna slow down.Is it possible that glide rate can be tweaked without ruining the rest of the flight models?Or maybe modeling the braking effect of a tail dragger when you pull back on the stick by using the alredy in CFS3 brake simulation?Somehow make it so that pulling back on stick triggers a button press to trigger the brakes and then just add in some drag to feel correct.

Don't think we can do that currently Wolfstriked but I haven't noticed a problem yet, and all the AI land fine. If you land and below stall speed pull back on the stick you will brake more.

Nice to know that back stick slows down plane faster as I have crashed into the fences at end of fields more than I would like to admit. Thanks Pol...

The best way to slow down for me, when too fast a landing, is by switching the engine off (sudden lose of speed)and applying left-right-left rudder(you get the idea,...) and taking the stick back.

It happened only once in an earlier version, most likely OFF, but apply back stick slowly. I broke a plane in half with too much pressure in that situation.

Yep since 2.05 I have to retrain how I land.truthfully I just need to stop coming in hotheaded and come in slow from further out....like in real life. duh I actually like how landings have become more realistic due to this now.
