For all that is holy, how do you throw bait in the PC version of Far Cry 4?

I have tried a dozen Youtube tutorials (as well as console versions), but I can not figure out how to select bait and throw it after I have skinned the animal.
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Roll the mouse wheel to select bait (look down to where you would expect to see the crouch symbol and you will see graphics for throwing knife, grenade, molatov etc.appear as you roll the wheel and bait will appear(looks a bit like a blob)). To chuck the bait press the wheel down and off it goes. You have to kill and skin an animal before you get any bait though. Thanks guys, I'm using keyboard and mouse so I will try this.

The annoying thing is that selection will reset very fast. More than once I've selected the throwing knives...waited for the right moment...pressed down on the wheel...MOLOTOV! So much for being stealthy...  The Jedi Master

Thanks guys, I'm using keyboard and mouse so I will try this.
Alternatively by press Q you see the weapons menu and by move the mouse in one direction select one (weapon, bait, Molotov...) that's remain selected util you select other. If you select e.g. Molotov and expend all availables, by press middle mouse key again you trow a rock.
