Sometimes I think people can be their own worst enemy.
I stay, in the virtual gaming world, absolutely in the middle.
I enjoy every kind of game from the Arcade Quake mode of War Thunder to the extreme linearity of FSX.
I adore DCS realism and Elite Dangerous (just to name a space game...) outoftheworldness.
Why oh why must fun be mutually exclusive within itself?
How can anyone ruin his or her own free time in the name of some coherency noone will ever check or consider?
And even if it was to be- who cares?
Granted, I can understand those who are absolutely abhorrent of simplifications in a realistic simulator (or forcing-in, in a mortally serious game, some lore breaking, unrelated, and ultimately unnecessary mechanism/vehicle/whatever)- but what's the harm in trying different things?
What if the best and most dedicated UFC champion was a total sucker for Pixar's "Up"?
Lately I've dropped most of the serious sims for the immediate fun of the PvP part of War Thunder arcade flight battles.
Games are for fun.
They are not a blood type! You can change, try everything you need, and even more than one at the same time!
If your free time is dinner, why must I eat always the same dish- thrice at a time?
...
MUST anyone do the same?
- What? No!
Am I going to be back to my other games?
- Hell yeah. Why not?
Am I going to keep War Thunder in my Hdd?
- You can bet anything!
Does this diminish any side of my being a worthy gamer?
LOL. WHO CARES!
I'm.
Having.
Fun.
PS: Chucky what's your ID in War Thunder?
