It is too close to the end of January so I thought I would round it off to the nearest month. I am reading "A Clash of Kings," the second Song of Ice and Fire novel right after "Game of Thrones" (which I read for the second time a week ago). I am reading this series a second time because I want to have it fresh in my mind when the sixth novel comes out (fingers crossed - daumen gedruecked).
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Magnum, throw out a few more words about that American Sniper book. The movie is hitting the spotlight big time, but I would like to hear from you about the book. I have a feeling that I want to read that book now.

Finished 'Spring Tide' by Cilla and Rolf Börjlind. Nice police story, a little too many coincidences and plot twists.

I have a feeling that I want to read that book now. I read it last year after he died, excellent book. I've already seen the movie twice. Mags, thanks for the idea on this book, was looking for another sniper book to get. I'm currently Reading Dale Brown's "Starfire". Not as good as his last few books IMO. http://www.amazon.com/Starfire-A-Novel-Dale-Brown/dp/0062262394

I re-discovered my copy of "ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun" that I started last year. It got set down one day and then got moved and covered up by a bunch of crap. So far it has been really interesting. Apparently the early days of ESPN were pretty wild. I also need to go back and finish reading the Flemming James Bond novels. I finished the first 2-3 and started either 3 or 4 (can't remember which), but got out of the habit of reading as much as I was last summer.

Book three of Game of Thrones is called "A Storm of Swords." That is where I am now. I will probably have to read this entire series again once or twice in order to be up-to-date when the grande finale of the story is finally released.

Rereading " Robot Dreams" by Asimov. What I didn't realize before is how deeply rooted in hard science the stories in this book are - even though some of the knowledge has been overtaken since he wrote the stories.

just ordered for my Nook Hey Mags, have you read this book yet? I know know if it's his memory or bad editing but 2 issues I have so far is he's mentioned jumping out of an AC-130 twice while in Jump school and another time during a fire fight they had a B-2 fly at 500 ft....
