So Deals with gold has Titanfall available for 12.49 USD. I have always been curious and have almost bought this game many times. My question is this, Is it worth it or not?

It's like Call of Duty only larger maps, giant robots, and in the future. As someone who hates Call of Duty yet enjoys SciFi and the occasional "Unreal Tournament style" shooter, I liked it. Honestly at 12 bucks (two fast food trips) you can't really go that wrong.

If you're on the fence find some good gameplay videos and decide!

Mulder: *throws her a file* Ever heard of the knife alien?

Thanks! I will probably pick it up. I forgot to mention that it's 12 bucks for the deluxe edition.

I didnt care for it at all. The game play was "meh" and the way it set up matches was annoying.

I stop playing it not long after it launched, its based on the Source engine from Valve and its showing its age. No bullet penetration, no destruction in the environment and the maps are just too small for titans, on top of that you have AI running around in multiplayer.

I picked up Titanfall during a similar sale during Christmas and only finished the tutorial so far, it feels maybe a bit faster than the type of FPS I usually liek, and I haven't had a chance to play it online yet because I got hooked on the BF4 Premium Edition which I also picked up on sale and have been having a blast with on conquest large mode.

I hope to try playing Titanfall online one of these nights if I can pull away from BF4.

BTW BF4 Premium Edition is also on sale now for $24 which includes all the DLC and is even cheaper than the $30 Christmas sale when I picked it up.

Seems like there might be a heavy emphasis on parkour, jumping around alot etc..... Not sure if I like that......Still havent pulled the trigger on the purchase.

Bought it, had some good matches, but for the most part... same ol run and gun shooter... now with the jumping and future craze... so even thou I bought both TF and the new CoD, not impressed with either, and rarely play either... but hey, if you like the game style, 12 bucks is a awesome price. I'm just getting so sick of the latest action shooters.

Ahh, just read... That's 13 bucks for the game and all the map packs. Might be worth it then IF. Your into the type of game, even slightly.

I like this game, think it's cool starting off as a pilot and then jumping into the robot. Some of the weapons are a joke, like the ones meant to kill a Titan, yet can't kill a pilot. I've prestiged once, I do so much better jumping around in this than I do CoD:AW
