I've been playing this fairly regularly in the evenings (PST) with a buddy and on occasion Feetwet.

Wondering if anyone else is online and wanting to team up.

My name on there is Snapdad. Feel free to add me.

thanks for the offer Snapdad. Most of us here are CLOD or BOS. But once in awhile I shake the dust off of WT.

My problem currently is the long waiting time. Often five minutes or more before I give up

But I could be in for some action. I generally play realistic, how about yous

Given up on aviation, but do have the occasional foray into simulation ground forces for a bit of fun.

I've been playing this a lot more lately. I usually stick to Arcade Battles (yea, I know) just because it's faster and gives me a chance to just fly and shoot.

I'll look for you in game.

I just started playing again. I"m mostly doing tanks but I will take a plane up from time to time as well. I play mostly realistic as the wait times aren't bad but I would prefer to play simulation. I don't play arcade at all.

Great! Yes, we have only been playing realistic.

I'll add you to my list, KublaKhan.

We use TeamSpeak while we play.

Wait times usually aren't a bother at all.
I've seen it go to 5 minutes before, but with an average player base of 20k+ and 5-600 battles going, it doesn't take long to get flying.

We mostly are working on our Tier II aircraft, and have only unlocked Tier 3 for the US and maybe one other country so far.

I'd love for a few more people to play WT with, but I only play Sim Battles. I know the wait times are long but that's what's fun for me. You can add me though kestrel79

I go in a cycle with WT, play tanks for a bit, get frustrated by the barrel one shotting occurring on Panthers especially and the play air for a bit before I get frustrated with the heavy bomber spam

One day the West will fall. But if the Liberty for which we fight is taken up by the world then the West will not have failed.

Now that is funny as in DCS you have to operate every little control in a plane while in WT most of the time I can go full throttle and rads closed and not worry about any plane handling.

I think if you set your control scheme to full realistic, you get trim and engine management controls to deal with.

True. The difference in this aspect is that in BoS or CLoD you can burn your engine out just setting on the runway. In WT, you just have to be a little reasonable.
